Sugar & Crumb Home Bakery is a small bakery that started in New Orleans, LA and transplanted here to Richmond, VA!
At this little home bakery, my mission is simple: to create delicious, high-quality baked goods that bring joy to my customers' lives. I use only the best ingredients and my recipes are curated from years of professional experience in the hospitality industry. My culinary journey started in 2014 at high-end resorts with the Walt Disney Company, continued at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, then to the Omni Hotels & Resorts in the French Quarter of New Orleans, LA.
Custom Cakes & Cookies are my speciality, but I have experience in nearly every facet of the pastry world!

For any basic order, such as a standard cake and cookies, I will need atleast a 48 hour notice. For custom cakes and custom pastry orders, I will need atleast 72 hours to make it happen!
Each cake I make is 4 layers with 3 layers of filling - that yields a cake that is approximately 5”-6” high. That means a 6” cake typically serves between 6-10 people, an 8” cake serves between 10-16 people, 10” cake serves between 20-26 people
My most popular item is a dozen of the sea salted chocolate chunk cookies. It’s a classic with a delicious salty twist!
Yes, I can absolutely offer those options for dietary restrictions but please keep in mind, I cannot 100% guarantee the product has not come in contact with animal products and/or gluten. However, I take precautions to prevent cross-contamination.
I do prefer pick up but I offer delivery for an extra $15 anywhere in the Richmond area. For areas 20 miles or more outside of Richmond, I can deliver for an extra $20.
I use organic ingredients whenever possible, all of my food colorings are free of artificial colors and flavors, and I always use real butter in my pastries.
I prefer cash as a payment method but I also accept Venmo & Zelle! My Venmo is @Autumn-Heckman or you can find me through Zelle using my phone number, 6073774359.
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to secure your order. If you cancel with less than 24 hour notice, you will be charged the full amount.
